AT319 Lab #2 Working with Multi-band UAS Imagery

Overview:

In lab today we were shown how to ‘stack’ raster bands to create a composite image. I worked with a raster data set to generate a composite image and to develop a map product.

Assignment Objectives:

  • Objective #1: Understand how individual raster layers are used to generate a multi-band stack.

  • Objective #2: Demonstrate a continued understanding of raster feature metadata

  • Objective #3: Demonstrate a continued proficiency and knowledge on how to effectively create maps using raster data in ArcPro.

Deliverables:

  • An export of a map layout with all the stated map components.

Process:

  • Generate a multi-band composite raster.

  • Now generate a map that has the following within the same layout:

  1. A false color IR of the orthomosaic composite

  2. An RGB of the orthomosaic composite

  3. A north arrow

  4. A scale in Meters

  5. A map title

  6. A metadata section

  7. A watermark that has you as the map creator.

Results:
